HI! Gosh, this is hard! If someone put a gun to my head, I'm not sure I could come up with even a short list. Oddly enough, the one that popped into my head immediately? "It Don't Come Easy" by Ringo Star. I like "Oh, My, My" by him as well. Then there is "Graceland" by Paul Simon and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". And dare I say it ? I would even put "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns and Roses on the list. Who knew? And for something completely different? "Orinoco Flow" by Enya. Several my Manhattan Transfer....I'M OUT OF CONTROL!!! :-O

Terri, I really like KWH! I have to rank "High Time" as one of my all-time favorite Dennis Songs. Wouldn't mind hearing that one in concert, but I know I'm reaching for the stars on that one! Well, can't blame a girl for trying. Marianne

Lisa, You know, "Call Me" is also on Dennis' Ultimate Collection c.d. This c.d. is available on Amazon for $13.98 (new) Check it out. In fact, with the Ultimate Collection I think you get all but two (help me out here, kids. I don't have the c.d. close) tracks from Back to the World. Don't get me wrong. If BTTW becomes available at a reasonable price, jump on it as I did a few years ago, but in the meantime, check out Amazon. You also get several nice pictures (including one of Dennis as a YOUNG boy with his dad!) and some great liner notes Marianne

Kathy, I adore Equinox and it was a real toss-up for me, but I had to go with Grand Illusion. It's really a tie in my mind, but I had to make a choice. Hate that! Marianne

And Mr. DeYoung is listed FOURTH on the cast list! Not bad for a guy who says If you blink, you'll miss him in this thing. I'm really wondering about that. Well, I think it will do o.k. It's the perfect summer movie as those things go. And I'm with the rest of you about Herbie. They shouldn't mess with a classic, but then, that seems to be the trend!

I enjoyed it, too Ron! Thanks! And how cool of Dennis to call the guy and thank him. I was interested to hear about Dennis' concern about cashing in. Mr. DeYoung has always been a class act, no?

[ My friends are either Yankees (like myself) or from other parts of Texas (Victoria,El Paso). Carmen, I know where Victoria is! In fact, Kathy, my husband and I met there for lunch when we were spending some time at the beach at Christmas time. Nice little town! Yes, Georgia has its own coast, but we were meeting up with my in-laws from Arizona. I enjoyed my time in Texas a great deal!

[ Yeah, Lisa. It was JY who disappointed me the most in this show. I expected the nastiness from Tommy as I had heard about it before, but I didn't expect it from JY for some reason and I was really angered by it. JY has continued to disappoint me on a regular basis ever since. I don't suppose he cares, but I'd sure like to tell him sometime! Oh and the other Tommy line? "When Dennis returned to the band [after we fired him the first time] I sensed an ANGER in him." Well, DUH, Tommy!!!!!

Hi! Here's what always bothered ME about the Robot comment: Kilroy Was Here HAD robots in it, but the album (and tour) was about something much more serious than that. It was about censorship and a world where mind control was the order of the day. We all know that. Even as a casual listener in high school, I got that. Now, either Tommy was INCREDIBLY stupid for being in the middle of it and missing the point or he just couldn't resist bashing Mr. Roboto (and Dennis) one more time. I tend to believe the latter is true rather than the former. Sorry. I always feel a need to vent about this! I feel better now! There is one more comment that Tommy made in that show that just sends me through the roof, but I'll save my comment on that until AFTER Lisa watches the show.

Yup! Kathy and I have spent many an hour on a jet to come see Dennis! HELLO!!!! There is life south of the Mason-Dixon Line! Unfortunately, Atlanta has not been welcoming. Stupid Atlanta! :angry:
