Great show. Dennis looked and sounded fantastic as always. I must admit, though, having seen quite a few of Dennis' shows over the past several years, it was a little jarring to hear the Tommy songs. Well, perhaps "jarring" is too strong a word..... In any case, I did enjoy them, but it still felt a little strange. August and Jimmy had totally ROCKIN' lead solos in Rockin' The Paradise. I also enjoyed the full band version of Show Me The Way. While I appreciate the talent and effort that goes into the acapella version, I've always been partial to the full album version. Thanks! Actually I've been a member of this board since '06. I went by the screen name ddyfan but had to re-register the other day because I think the old account had been deleted due to inactivity. As you can see I'm mostly a lurker. Had to come out of lurk mode though after seeing the BB King show. It was SO much fun, very unique... SO cool to see and hear Dennis on piano for an entire evening!

My thought exactly. By that point he had been SO freaking annoying that other patrons were yelling at him. He should've been kicked out about an hour earlier. I observed the woman he was with trying desperately to ignore him. During Babe he tried to cuddle up with her and she was trying to keep her distance. I felt sorry for her.

The show was fabulous!! Dennis was cracking jokes the entire evening. Some I remember: He came out wearing a black leather jacket. Early on he removed it, saying that "Fonzi wants his jacket back." At one point his microphone was drooping. "Give this mic some Cialis." He mentioned being sick the week before which necessitated canceling some shows. "I coughed up so much greet shit, I got two calls from Al Gore." Etc. etc... It went on and on. He is such a ham! Unfortunately I was near the drunk guy who was yelling "MISS AMERICA!!!" (Dennis goes, "Can someone get him another drink?") He stood up and yelled inappropriate things at several other points also. He was finally escorted out by security during Best Of Times. It was so cool to hear the acoustic arrangements. I thought all four of the guys did an amazing job, especially if it was true that, as Dennis said, they only rehearsed twice. ("And the first time, we were all drunk.") Personal highlight for me was Save Me. That's my favorite song off of 100 Years, and it was the first time I've seen it performed live.
