Soundstage was a PBS series that was produced by WTTW in Chicago. It originally ran from 1974-1983. In 2002, the series was revived and Dennis DeYoung was asked to be the premiere artist. Unfortunately due to several setbacks, the episode was delayed, but finally did air. It was tied in with PBS fundraisers across the nation, where during a broadcast of the episode viewers could call in and donate to their local PBS station. Depending on the amount of the donation (or pledge), they could be awarded various gifts, including concert tickets, copies of the episode DVD or a CD, or even a very limited number of meet and greet passes. Dennis was live in studio during some of the Chicago broadcasts.
