I feel if you are "cutting edge" you are at the forefront of the technology, breaking new ground and doing things no one else has done before. For example, some of the early videos in the 80's, like Money For Nothing and Take On Me were cutting edge. A band or some of its members using the internet to connect and communicate with its fans at the start of the internet explosion. MTV is not going to play their video, and music videos cost $$$. My guess is that Tommy likes to edit video with his mac and take photos. This was probably a hobby project that at some point he decided to release thinking it was good enough. For me the quality just plain sucks. I reallly do not think as a collective the band in it's current form has any interest in puttibg a album out of new material. Thats not were the $$ is. It is in the touring. Plus the gerneral audience going to see them wants to hear the hits and not the new stuff. It is mainly the core fan base that wants to hear new material and sadly that does not seem to be enough people to make it happen right now. When and if they put a new album out TS will be able to use PRO TOOLS to record it and his MAC to design the album cover etc.! Then should it fail, JY will find some way of making sure DDY was at fault for it....oh wait a minute DDY is out now who will JY point the finger at? Larry, you may want to duck behind your keyboard!
