The last thing I heard/read was some interview with JY where he flat out stated there will NOT be any new "Styx" album next year. I don't think he elaborated beyond that, but I notice all talk of any new album has ceased with the current lineup band. But, I think the quality stinks. The use of a higher end consumer HD video cam would have been better than a rapid fire d-SLR with a crappy camera taking extra video. Or how about: Today's video technology is great and easy for younger, aspiring artists to help be noticed. However, a group with the caliber of the name Styx deserves better. They have to resort to videos of this caliber to promote their music? They may see it as riding the "cutting edge." I see it as pathetic.
