styxter
OKay, for me, favorite Styx album is Paradise Theater and favorite solo album is Desert Moon because of the memories I have from that point in my life when it came out. Edge is a close second as far as Styx albums.
mtlfan
Fav Styx CD is easy - Equinox. Paradise Theater second. Fav DDY CD - Symphonic Styx. I've been listening to either one or the other CD every day since I bought it in February. I absolutely love the sound of a symphony with rock music and Dennis really carries it off, and as you all already know, :-) I could listen to Tommy's guitar all day. Having been fortunate enough to have been in the audience that night, I can tell you it was a truly wonderful night. The production on the cd itself is great. I only wish he had opted to include the orchestral overture and his off the cuff rendition of Summertime. For all the times I have been lucky enough to see him, I think that rendition of Summertime was his best. Liz

Liz It was a thrill for me as well to be a part of the audience for that recording in the beautiful Chicago Theater. As for "Summertime", I would say the best I've heard him interpret the song was at his Milwaukee Riverside Theater concert in May of 2000. With an arm resting on the grand piano played by his keyboardist at the time Jeremy (last name escapes me but I'm sure some one here can fill in the name) and a Sinatra like flick of an imaginary cigarette he hit every nuance of the Gershwin standard.
