mtlfan
I just got my hands on a copy of Victor Hugo's Notre-Dame de Paris in French from one of my French (as in just moved from France to Montreal last year) co-workers. In hardcover, no less! How cool is that? It'll take me a while to read it, but since I know most of the premise of the story already, it should be interesting .... Ron
How cool! I tried reading a copy (in English) a few years ago but didn't get too far. I'm told Dennis stayed pretty true to Hugo's original story.

I'm told Dennis stayed pretty true to Hugo's original story. From what I know of the story he did, but now I get to read the rest of it. I'll have my huge French dictionary on hand for some of the more obscure words. :-) Only a DDY fan would appreciate the fact that I got my hands on the book. :-)
