ladybugking Posted September 1, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 I decided to waste a little time before heading to my Labor Day Party #1 (#2 tomorrow, LOL!) and check the MediaBase charts for today and post what I found. The single is headed back up into the top 20's on the AC chart and, quite surprisingly, is moving back up the Top 40 charts too. The little engine that could!! Go Dennis! The single has been on these charts since its release, so we are going on about 3 months now. Also, he was featured in a publication called "Le Canada Francais" for August 22nd, I think. I checked out the publication, and it seems to be a weekly paper in St. Jean de Richelieu. You'd need to subscribe/pay to see the back issue to read the feature. I just checked out the new photos. Nice pics! They seem to be a mix of the Quebec City shows (I can see two people I know from Gatineau in the audience!!), the Montreal shows at PDA, the Ste. Adele show and the last show at St. Jean de Richelieu. So now you get to see the crowd at St. Jean de R.!! I can see the guy who was standing directly in front of me, but because of the angle of the camera and Tommy's guitar, you can't see me or Markir in the audience. ladybugking Posted September 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 Looks like after two months of charting well, the single "100 Years" is starting to drop a bit, so I won't be posting any more numbers. It has had an amazing run for an older artist and is still doing well. It is still on the Radio and Records charts and hovers in the top 35 or so on the MediaBase charts. I really am anxious to see what they will do about a follow-up single, but I would think now would be the time. (But, last time I looked, they didn't ask me!!! ) His profile has been raised quite nicely thanks to the success of "100 Years" I would think radio audiences, used to hearing "the single from Dennis DeYoung and Eric Lapointe" might just naturally accept a new single from "Dennis DeYoung." Interesting that the single is now officially on the Radio and Records AC chart for 3 months now. It stayed where it was last week at #44.
