To add to Robin's question, related to the "Call Me" video, who is the American painter whose works were referenced in that really lovely video?

Now I need to watch it again to check the hotel, cafe, etc. LOL!

It is a stunning video (should have won awards) and the song is really wonderful.

Okay...still haven't Call Me (writes note to do so tonight).

Middle name...Alan

though I rather liked when some thought it was Acan. Unusual.

Liz

That comes from a website called www.thegrandillusion.com. His middle name is listed as Acan. Typo anyone? :-)

I have a trivia question, but I don't even know the real answer to it so...that pretty much makes me an idiot for asking it in this forum...anyway, I've wondered this from the first time I saw the "Caught in the Act" video. Okay, here goes. When Jonathan Chance hacks into the A/V feed at the complex and uploads the song by Kilroy (that he sees in prison on television), what was the song???? I thought it was "Music Time", but after I bought the CITA album "Music Time" doesn't sound anything like the clip shown on the KWH film. Help? Anyone? Anyone? And as a bonus question, if the song is "Music Time" where does one purchase that version of the song, since the harmony part is awesome between the guys and different from the CITA album release?

Of course, since I don't really know the answer to this, you'all could tell me the song was "Puff The Magic Dragon" and the album was "Thriller" and that version is only available on a little known release in Peru. hahahaha. Have fun and thank you to anyone who really does know this information and cares enough to tell me the REAL answer.

By the way, you guys and gals here at DDY Talk are the best! I've never encountered a group of folks linked by their enjoyment of a specific area of interest who are so giving, caring and nice to each other. It's really cool. I'm not just saying this so some one will answer my question either. Sure you aren't, you say! LOL

Take care,

Todd

Oooh Oooh Oooh pick me, Mr. Kotter, I know.........

Free Bird

Seriously, I do know but since I think I'm the first one up this morning since you posted at midnight, I'll let it go a bit for the enjoyment of not having a trivia question around here for awhile.

I will say once you find out, and go back and listen to the original studio version of the song, then play the video, you will recognize the piece.

Hint: It was on Dennis' set list two years ago

BTW, Welcome to the board! :)

Hi Todd, welcome to the fun!

To answer your question, the song is from the Cornerstone album (which by the way was my first Styx purchase) and the song is "Borrowed Time".

Any other "trivia" just ask away!

Rock On!
