Ron Posted March 18, 2006 Report Share Posted March 18, 2006 After three months of hard work, I am glad to finally have the NEW DDY Talk uploaded and in use. Hopefully, some of the minor bugs that may remain can be taken care of rather quickly. A few things, like updating all of the concerts that were just announced, the site map, and cleaning up the contact form may take a day or two (or three) to get fixed up and working properly. What took so long? The entire site was redesigned, not just a minor format change. The result is a professional looking site that is easy to navigate and use. The code is well written, and keywords should be easily recognized by search engines which should result in more visitors to the site. The site look goes with the new message board look that debut in January, and should display properly in all browsers--something that kept giving me headaches throughout the design phase of the new look. There are almost 400 web pages that make up the site, and about 9000 links total, so I'm sure to have screwed something up somewhere.
