Ron
I have always had the links on the site to purchase Dennis' music with the album information. For example, you look up "The Grand Illusion" and if you want to buy it, the link is right there. I did this to keep the sale with the content that was being sold, so that interest in Dennis' music could result in sales for him. While I do collect an associate "commission" for doing this, for me it was about connecting people with the music. Besides, I would make (if I'm lucky) 50 cents per CD, and so far I have made.... $0.00. So it's not about income for me that I have this set up. But with the recorded music market the way it is today, with iTunes and buying single songs, etc. I was thinking about adding this type of interface to the site as well. Someone finds a song they were looking for (or lyrics to a song) and can easily buy that song. My concern is that this might clutter up the content pages for a feature that could be convienent but is hardly--if ever--used. So I'm just looking for an opinion if I should just leave things the way they are, add the additional "buy song from iTunes" links to the content pages, or have a seperate "DeYoung Store" section of the site, where one link at the content section takes you to another page where you can pick from what merchant you wish to buy from. THanks for your help, Ron
