Gravity
HI! Gosh, this is hard! If someone put a gun to my head, I'm not sure I could come up with even a short list. Oddly enough, the one that popped into my head immediately? "It Don't Come Easy" by Ringo Star. I like "Oh, My, My" by him as well. Then there is "Graceland" by Paul Simon and "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". And dare I say it ? I would even put "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns and Roses on the list. Who knew? And for something completely different? "Orinoco Flow" by Enya. Several my Manhattan Transfer....I'M OUT OF CONTROL!!! :-O OK whenever we discuss what our favorite Dennis song is, we usually can't narrow it down and end up with a list of 5-10 songs. But what about songs by other artists? What is your favorite non-Styx song? Ron <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
teesa_66
Well, While "Ave" will probably always be my top fave, currently I find I can't get enough of Tool's "Vicarious" and 3 Days Grace's "Animal I have Become". How's that for the opposite end of the spectrum???

How's that for the opposite end of the spectrum??? How's this for the opposite end of the spectrum - I used to sing in a Medieval and Renaissance Choir when I lived in Halifax. Love that stuff. But then I'll blast Tommy's solos in my car. :-O I can tell you the kind of music I *don't* like easier than I can list all those that I do. Go figure. Ron
Since you mentioned you are 15, I have to ask (based on this list): Any favorite songs that were recorded after you were born? BTW Criminal Mind I consider Gowan and not Styx (and a really great, haunting song). Even Petra made your list. WOW! Ron

Hmmm...well, I guess there aren't too many modern songs that I'm really into, although I do give everything a chance! Ahh yeah...those were the days! Music was soooo awesome back in those times...I wish I was alive back then to actually grow up with it! I'm so lucky that DDY, Styx, and many other awesome bands are still around! I guess...the only new stuff I really like is the stuff that the classic bands make. Because that still sounds really good to me. You know, new stuff like from "Cyclorama" and such...it all sounds great because they still maintain that classic sound. I just don't usually get into bands that are from the 21st century...it just doesn't seem magical anymore. Eh, that's alright though! As long as I can listen to the legends of music, I'm happy! Thanks for asking me! It's been a delight talking! Peace and music always... *-~*~-*Bright_Light_Girl*-~*~-*
