ESSEX JUNCTION - The Vermont Balloon and Music Festival has been named one of Vermont’s “Top Ten Summer Events” in the Vermont Chamber of Commerce’s 13th annual competition recognizing top summer events.

 

The panel of judges were: Tom Slayton, Vermont Life Magazine; John Boutin, Vermont Business Magazine; Bob Flint, Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce; Jason Aldous, Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing and Vicky Tebbets, Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

 

The Vermont Balloon and Music Festival was held June 3-5, 2005 at Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction. The three-day festival featured a wide range of top-name music acts, 41 hot-air balloons, Circus Smirkus Academy, animal shows, carnival rides, crafts, food, antiques and much more. The Festival is presented by UNICEL. All entertainment and concerts are included in the admission, along with free parking at Champlain Valley Exposition. Concerts are rain or shine.

THE QUICK CHEK NEW JERSEY FESTIVAL OF BALLOONING

 

Ballooning Quick Chek We are proud to continue our affiliation with Promo 1, producer of the the three-day Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. With attendance of up to 175,000 people, it is the largest summertime hot air balloon festival in North America. The festival is considered New Jersey’s premiere summertime event, bringing families from all around the Tri-State area to Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ, for the 200-plus attractions and the five separate ascensions of 125-plus balloons.

 

 

 

The Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will be held on July 29, 30, and 31, 2005. The event boasts an air show, live concerts featuring Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits; The Doobie Brothers and Dennis DeYoung of STYX songs, alligator wrestling, fireworks display, balloon glows, quality food concessions, and plenty of family entertainment, in addition to the magic of ballooning.
