Just he really went off in this musical theater thing and that was clearly his priority. Tommy and I play in a rock and roll band. We want to tour a lot. We want to do a lot of things that are affiliated with that. We don’t want to take time out after waiting 13 years to get this thing back together after breaking up in ’83. There’s also a barrier to entry for us in terms of credibility. “We know what you guys are. Totally destroyed, what a joke. With that kind of statement you would think people stopped buying their albums after Babe. I would take the following: a new cd by James Young Group, a new cd by Shaw / Blades, a new cd by Gowan, a new cd by Glen Burtnik. We can have Ricky and/or Chuck play bass on all of these. Todd does fine in any song he plays on, or his own DVD releases. All that before a new cd or song by Styx without Dennis as the lead singer, and record producer with the rest of the band working and recording it all together. The thing about JY when it comes to him making statements about DDY or things related to him is for every good thing he says he follows it up with something negative or backhanded. Yup... It seems to me he just wants to keep reinforcing why thay dont want Dennis back in the band... They have control and they dont intend to give it up...
