Dennis DeYoung Harrah's Chester PA 11/4/2011

Please note that the stage and seating arrangement for Dennis' show 11/4/2011 will NOT be the same as shown on the Ticketmaster website, like it was when Dennis was here in February of 2010. Dennis and his management have requested that the room be set up in an "end stage" format, with the stage and then rows going back from the stage. There will not be seats facing the sides of the stage (like Sections 1 and 5 are in the diagram).

This will mean that if you are planning on attending, you will see the band from the front (and not their backs), and the sound should be better as well.

Dennis was a sellout when he was here in 2010.

I hope your right about the changes. I think I am going to sit this one out though. I don't have much faith in that venue. It seems to me that the addition of hiring musical acts for that location was an after thought. For me the seating arrangement was the least of it's problems. It's just not suited for concerts.

It is a shame that the venue has so many shortcomings. If you look at Harrah's in Atlantic City and how wonderful that is, it is surprising that they built the one in Chester the way that they did. However, I am willing to give them another try, since they wanted Dennis to return. And apparently they want him back bad enough that they are agreeing to the stipulation to change the way that they set up the room.

I hope that the changes will make the seating arrangements better as well as the audio and lights. It just seems to me that they do not arrange for an audio system that is designed to handle that quality of a performance. It reminded me of a DJ system or something your local band would use. I enjoyed Dennis' performance very much but, the issues did have a negative effect on the experience. I felt bad for Dennis.
