Chicago Guy
He's performing two shows -- May 7 and 8 -- at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. He's also contemplating a full Canadian tour and writing new tunes as Gowan, but he says his first instinct is to offer his songs to Styx. "I love being in Styx and I absolutely love revisiting these (Gowan) songs," he says. "If you want me to tell the universe my plans, which makes it always laugh back at you, my plan is yes, I want to tour, but I don't know if it's possible. We'll see. I'm positively ready to do the big '80s unapologetic rock show again!" http://www.edmontonjournal.com/entertainme...5958/story.html
Boomchild
writing new tunes as Gowan, but he says his first instinct is to offer his songs to Styx. Offer the songs to Styx, Why? They are not going to do anything with them anyway. Sure, we have heard all the talk about lots of "new material" having been written by the group. What's the point if you are not going to record it and release it. Styx will release new material when they are playing ice hockey on the river Styx. Mr.Roboto571985
Sounds like they might be looking for a keyboardist while he is away.......if does decide to tour that is.
