ddyfan1 Posted June 11, 2009 Report Share Posted June 11, 2009 The show was fabulous!! Dennis was cracking jokes the entire evening. Some I remember: He came out wearing a black leather jacket. Early on he removed it, saying that "Fonzi wants his jacket back." At one point his microphone was drooping. "Give this mic some Cialis." He mentioned being sick the week before which necessitated canceling some shows. "I coughed up so much greet shit, I got two calls from Al Gore." Etc. etc... It went on and on. He is such a ham! Unfortunately I was near the drunk guy who was yelling "MISS AMERICA!!!" (Dennis goes, "Can someone get him another drink?") He stood up and yelled inappropriate things at several other points also. He was finally escorted out by security during Best Of Times. It was so cool to hear the acoustic arrangements. I thought all four of the guys did an amazing job, especially if it was true that, as Dennis said, they only rehearsed twice. ("And the first time, we were all drunk.") Personal highlight for me was Save Me. That's my favorite song off of 100 Years, and it was the first time I've seen it performed live. He should've been kicked out about an hour earlier. I observed the woman he was with trying desperately to ignore him.
