I don't watch A.I. regularly, but my wife called me in the room to watch Danny and Chris (that's what she said their names were) butcher Renegade in a duet. It was ugly, man. However, at least the black haired, freak guy named Adam didn't do it so he could scream through the middle of the song like Axl Rose with his nuts in a vice. There are some songs that should be left alone. I think Renegade is one of them. Tommy, Dennis, and JY's harmony in that song could possibly be their best. Just my opinion. ladybugking Posted May 6, 2009 Report Share Posted May 6, 2009 I was surprised anyone attempted this song after Chris Daughtry did a decent version of it on Season 5. Anyway. The harmonies of the two guys, Kris and Danny, were really good. Better than the current version of Styx but not even sharing the same planet with the original version's harmonies. Their singing on the solo parts was pretty darn pathetic, though. I cannot stand Danny but like Kris, but they trashed the song pretty well. Wish the band had drowned them out a bit more.
