Ron
According to the Bailiwick website, tickets will be available for Hunchback through August 17th, and then it will end its run. Some investigation has revealed that the Bailiwick received some damage during the recent storms in Chicago, so the production will be closing a little earlier than originally expected. wishiwas
That really bums me out. I really enjoyed the Hunchback play. I live in New Hampshire, so getting back to Chicago is out of the question. Anyone know if Dennis has been attending these final shows or not? ladybugking
I have heard that Dennis is/was at many Hunchback performances. There was some item in the Chicago papers about him actually conducting the singers for one of the performances. (Not sure if the link was posted here). Here is a link to a news piece about the person who took over the role of Quasimodo. A lot of musical footage is here as well as a brief interview with Dennis. It sure looked like the musical was going gangbusters. It is a shame it had to close its extended run early due to the flood damage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAzP31uglBI Edited August 14, 2008 by ladybugking
