Ron Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 Since life is dull unless I'm constantly busy, I volunteer at my daughter's little league by running the concession stand. While at some leagues this is a pretty simple job, but our league has over 700 kids and the stand is a major source of revenue for the league. This is going to be my third year in charge of it, handling ordering, operations, and everything else this "mini-restaurant" needs. Simply put, it's a 30 hour a week management position that brings in a big monetary income of $0. (Okay there are other benefits that aren't monetary, and that's the real reason for my involvement.) Anyway, I have created http://www.kyalsnackbar.com to compliment my work there. Some of the techniques I used were learning tools for the update of this site that I am currently working on (when I'm not working or at the ball field). I think it looks really good, so I wanted to share. There are a few minor things I have to complete yet, like taking pictures of items so I can display them, and adding the nutritional information, but I can't add them until I start making products and get the items in stock.
